Hi there,
welcome to my home page. I'm a lecturer at Paris Diderot University. Most of my teaching is done in the masters of Bioinformatics at Paris Diderot. I mainly teach python programming and molecular modelling. For my research, I recently moved (2017) to the Laboratoire des BioMolecules which belongs to CNRS, Pierre and Marie Curie University and the Chemistry Department from Ecole Normale Superieure. My previous adresses were the Jacques Monod Institute (2012-2016), the DSIMB group (2008-2012) and the EBGM group (2002-2008). I warmly thank Cathy Etchebest from DSIMB for hosting my web page after all this time. Some of the things on this web site are clearly outdated, but I'll do my best to update them within the next months. Still I wish you a good visit!
I did my Ph.D. thesis in the Laboratory of Biomolecular Spectroscopies and Structures of the Reims Champagne-Ardenne University, and in the Department of Chemistry of the University of Basilicata. I did a Post-Doc in the NMR Department of the Utrecht University.
I describe overhere a few things about my research which deals with molecular modeling of biomolecules (proteins, peptides, biological membranes and surfactants). I also put a few scripts I find useful on the download section. Last but not least, I have quite a lot of teaching material (mostly in french) on the education section. Notably, you can check out my complete python course that I maintain with Pierre Poulain (in french).
New (Jun 5th 2024) :
The second edition of our Python book Python programming for life sciences (in french) is out!
